Dr. Xie completed her residency at University of California,Irvine, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year.
She then completed a rigorous fellowship in cornea, refractive and anterior segment surgery at Baylor College of Medicine.
She is passionate about achieving great outcomes in cataract and corneal surgery and staying at the forefront oftechnology. Dr. Xie is trained in laser-assisted cataract surgery,
refractive cataract surgery, complex cataract surgery,intraocular lens exchange, as well as partial and full thickness corneal transplants. She is highly invested in providing her
patients with the best vision they can achieve.
Dr. Xie is married to a pediatrician and loves her new role as a mom to a wonderful son. She grew up in Southern California
and feels so privileged to return home to serve the community she grew up in. Her hobbies include DIY household projects, trying new foods, and photography.
