Practice History

Marcus J. Lemley, MD, started practicing Ophthalmology in Pasadena, CA at 185 South Euclid, in October 1974. The office relocated to 259 S Euclid in 1978 and to 213 S Euclid in1991. The office in Glendora, CA was opened in 1991. The office in Arcadia, CA was acquired in 1998 and relocated to Monrovia, CA in 1999. These three locations comprise California Eye Specialists.

The Eye Surgical Center was established with Jerold E. Beeve, MD, in Glendale, CA and opened in 1985. Dr. Lemley acquired full ownership of The Eye Surgical Center in 1992.

Dr. Lemley initiated the California Eye Care network in 1984. This network has become one of the largest ophthalmic delivery organizations in the greater Los Angeles area.
